Lessons are organised into terms, which are built around Wiltshire Council school term dates. There are usually 6 or 7 weeks in a term with 30-minute time slots available 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday. No lessons on Sundays or during School Holidays. (See Calendar)
Option 1: Advance payment at the start of each term @£16 per lesson. Payable before the first lesson via bank transfer. This guarantees you a weekly 30-minute lesson for the duration of the term.
E.g. If the term has 6 weeks, then you will be invoiced at the start of term for 6 x £16 = £96
Option 2: £18 ‘pay as you go’. This is for students who cannot commit to the same day/time each week. It provides you with a 30-minute lesson at any available free time. It does not guarantee the same time or day each week.
1.) Oddity Theatre’s Responsibilities – To create enjoyable lessons to suit the individual goals, desires and loves of each student. To encourage students to be curious and creative. To help students learn music that they want to learn whilst developing their note reading, technique and theory. Students will learn a large amount of repertoire and enjoy an education that suits their level and goals for the future.
2.) Student/Parent Responsibilities – Students are responsible for arriving at lessons on-time, with correct books and having completed their practice. Students should practice to achieve goals and it is expected that all instructions are followed week-to-week. Late arrival times will not be made up.
3.) School Calendar – Lessons are organised into terms, which are built around Wiltshire Council School Term Dates. There are usually 6 or 7 weeks in a term with 30-minute time slots available 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday. No lessons on Sundays or during School Holidays.
4.) Payment – Covers not only the actual lesson time spent with the student, but time preparing for each student as well as ongoing business costs, including the hire of the teaching room and facilities, insurance, DBS checks and printing.

6.) Reschedule Lessons – To reschedule a lesson, you must give at least 24-hours’ notice. Any lessons cancelled after 24-hours will still be charged. If the teacher is sick or unable to teach a lesson it will be made up on an alternative day. The quickest way to reschedule a lesson is via the Student Portal.
7.) Make-Up Credits – If you give 24-hours’ notice when cancelling a lesson, you will receive a Make-Up Credit that you can use to book any other available time slot during the term. If there are no available slots, then the balance will be carried forward to the following term’s invoice. Any lessons cancelled after 24-hours will be charged and no Make-Up Credit given.
8.) Reminder Messages – A reminder text/email is sent the day before each lesson. You can ‘enable’ or ‘disable’ the reminders via the online Student Portal.
